Unemployment benefit application

Help Part-time job compatibility

The perception of unemployment benefits is compatible:

In the event that you are receiving an unemployment subsidy and you are placed in a part-time job, you can make it compatible with the subsidy, provided that the income from part-time work, added to those others that you may obtain, do not imply the loss of the requirement of lack of own income higher than 75% of the Minimum Interprofessional Salary excluding the proportional part of two extraordinary payments. In this case, the part proportional to the time worked will be deducted from the amount of your subsidy and for each compatible day, a whole day of subsidy will be consumed. If your part-time employment contract ends and you have not exhausted your subsidy, you must request that the subsidy be resumed so that you are paid again in the amount you were entitled to before being compatible with the part-time placement.

If you do not choose to make part-time work compatible with the unemployment benefit, it is suspended and when the employment relationship ends, you can resume the period you still had to collect when the subsidy was suspended, in the same amount that you had before to suspend it.
