Unemployment benefit application

Aid to fixed-discontinuous

You must meet, in addition to the general requirements, the following:

  • Discontinuous permanent workers, including those who perform fixed and periodic jobs that are repeated on certain dates, while maintaining said condition, will not be able to obtain the subsidy for those over 55 years of age during periods of intermittent or seasonal activity. However, you may obtain said subsidy when your employment relationship is terminated, provided that they meet the general requirements of the same.

In the cases of perception of the unemployment subsidy when it comes to discontinuous permanent workers:

  • If they are under the age of fifty-five and the beneficiary has credited, for the purposes of recognizing the subsidy, a period of listed employment of one hundred and eighty or more days, the managing entity will enter the social security contributions corresponding to the retirement contingency during a period of sixty days, from the date on which the right to the subsidy arises.
  • If they are over the age of fifty-five, the managing entity will enter the Social Security contributions corresponding to the retirement contingency during the entire receipt of the subsidy once the indicated age has been reached.

For the purposes of determining the price in the cases indicated in the preceding sections, the minimum contribution limit in force at all times will be taken as the basis for the price.
